Nikita Foundation is the face of our humble CSR effort, targeting the betterment of underprivileged lives. Our commitment towards the preservation of nature, the elimination of illiteracy and the restoration of health, powers our passionate resolve of enhancing the wellness quotient of our community and society at large. The Nikita Foundation is also ushering in the enrichment of education for scores of young rural kids by setting up or sponsoring local schools with a focus on quality learning and vocational training.
We sincerely believe that our real jewels are people and only through their emancipation, can we create a gem-of-a-chain of future citizens, worth more than their weight in gold. In achieving that, we stand firmly committed.
EDUCATION IS THE KEY
India is home to the world”s largest population of illiterate adults in the world. They number close to 287 million people, i.e Rs. 37% of the world population. 60 lakh children are still out of school and the nation is ranked as low as 123 out of 135 in female literacy rate. In this scenario, it is imperative for private institutions to take up the challenge and contribute towards Nation building. At Nikita Foundation, we are making significant inroads in India’s underprivileged empowerment sector through our various initiatives that focus on providing free quality education to members of less fortunately sections of society.
TOWARDS A HEALTHIER NATION
In a Nation, marked by almost 38 million deaths every year, where almost 38 million deaths occur due to non-communicable disease(NCD); it is imperative to focus on the prevention of NCDS, since these diseases are expensive to treat, and can proof life-threatening to the victims and financially debilitating to their families. Nikita Foundation’s social services initiative aims at establishing a climate of wellness security for all Indians, irrespective of class, religion and creed. Our initiatives stand testimony to our resolve of heralding a hygiene conscious and healthier nation.
MAKING INDIA EVERGREEN AGAIN
India today stands at the very bottom of the Global Environment Performance Index, in terms of air quality, biodiversity protection and greenhouse gases emissions. The need of the hour is to reverse this downward spiral and restore the nation’s green cover back to where it was, during our nation’s glorious past. Our commitment towards its noble initiative forms the basis of our resolve.
