Top 5 Bollywood Movies with Exquisite Jewellery

Believe it or not, we all get influenced with Bollywood. So much so, that our fashion is often in sync with what we see on the silver screen. And Bollywood is all about that extra bling. When it comes to jewellery, we are simply overwhelmed with options where our favourite celebs wear the best of jewellery and we get thoroughly inspired by them, isn’t it?

So, let us now see the top five Bollywood movies where the actresses have flaunted some of the most exquisite jewellery on screen.

  1. Ram-Leela

That dimpled smile of Deepika Padukone got even better with the exclusive and gaudy chandelier earring (chandbali) in Ram-Leela. Her ethnic Ghaghra-Choli and a messy bun complimented the kind of jewellery she had worn in the movie. Deepika sets a trend whenever she appears on the screen and if you are keen on buying chandbalis for yourself, don’t worry, you can never go wrong with these!

  1. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo

For the jewellery lovers, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was a treat for the eyes! Sonam Kapoor defines her character as a princess by wearing some of the most beautiful jadau ethnic pendants on screen. Her bright smile, the gorgeous lehenga and sarees, and her different types of jewellery pieces looked wonderful on the big screen, don’t you agree?

  1. Jodha Akbar

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looks beautiful with or without jewellery. But we can’t deny how wonderful she looked in Jodha Akbar! Those heavy stone-studded neckpieces and earrings with that big nath made her look nothing less than a queen! After the release of the movie, many brides opted for her look on their wedding day. That big nath is still a big hit amongst the jewellery lovers!

  1. Bajirao Mastani

This Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick is not only about huge sets and larger than life characters, but also about beautiful, ethnic Marathi jewellery. The song ‘Pinga’ exclusively shows the elaborate Marathi traditional jewellery work by both Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. They both looked resplendent in the song and the famous Marathi nose pin came into the limelight once again.

  1. 2 States

It’s true that this movie is not that rich in terms of showcasing jewellery. However, in the later part of the movie, Alia Bhat wears some of the most beautiful South-Indian jewellery that catches the eye of every viewer. The golden coin necklace, jadau jhumkis, and maang-tika make her look beautiful in all sense.
